Job Responsibility

  • Oversee daily operations including job cost accounting, AP, AR, billing, and cash applications.
  • Bring expertise in AIA/progress billing, retainage tracking, change order processing, and construction collections to keep projects profitable and cash flowing strong.
  • Bridge the Controller and project teams, crush monthly WIP reviews, resolve variances, and partner with PMs & Operations.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of accounting experience, including substantial exposure to construction-related financial operations.
  • Demonstrated background in full charge bookkeeping with responsibility for end-to-end accounting tasks.
  • Practical experience using QuickBooks for daily accounting management and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with AIA billing and an understanding of invoicing practices within the construction industry.
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced business environment.
