Job Description:

We’re excited to be launching our new East Ballina site under The Station Grocer brand. While the store will temporarily close for renovations soon, successful applicants will be trained at our other locations so they are fully prepared when the new site re-opens. Shifts will range: 5am – 11am; 11am – 5pm; 5pm – 10pm

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate the console and process fuel and in-store transactions accurately
  • Deliver warm, friendly service to every customer
  • Handle cash, card, and electronic payments with care and attention to detail
  • Monitor fuel pumps and maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store and forecourt
  • Prepare and serve quality coffee and food items to standard
  • Restock shelves, manage inventory, and help keep the store clean and organised
  • Complete end-of-day tasks including till reconciliation
  • Follow all store policies, including safety and hygiene procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail is highly regarded
  • Confident communicator with a positive, professional attitude
  • Comfortable working solo and staying productive during quieter periods
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and completing shift close
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
