Job Description:

JPJ Audio, one of Australia’s leading Audio production companies, is seeking staff to join our Warehouse team based in Homebush West,NSW, working in our Console Department. This role will act as key member of our Audio Department, preparing, testing and managing inventory of our mixing console fleet and associated audio equipment. The successful applicant will be a highly driven and motivated individual that is keen to adapt to our fast-paced environment. On occasion, work may be required outside of normal business hours in order to meet the demands of the dynamic live events industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparing, testing and maintaining professional digital audio mixing consoles and associated recording and outboard electronics
  • Supporting technical crews with the preparation and deployment of mixing console systems
  • Checking in/out of equipment using our inventory management system
  • Provide support to personnel within the operations department
  • The administration and technical requirements associated with coordinating the day-to-day operations

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of/or experience in
  • professional audio equipment and/or Audio production for live events
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team environment and with minimum supervision
  • Drivers Licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Qualification in WHS (white card)

  • Supervise the technical aspects of the events including the on-air broadcasts, the in-venue productions, the worldwide transmissions, as well as coordination of event production logistics and assuring quality control of all sub-contracted operations
  • Facilitate internal and external live and posted productions, events and functions at UFC Apex
  • Oversee creative development and logistics of production related efforts for event week promotional initiatives, live events, and the execution of on-air and live streaming elements
