Conservation intern trainee

• Assist with the cleaning, handling, and conservation of historic manuscripts and materials (e.g., paper, textile, leather, wood, etc.)
• Support preservation work under the guidance of trained conservators
• Maintain high standards of respect, cleanliness, and spiritual discipline in the studio
• Learn fundamental conservation techniques through guided training

• Degree holders (any discipline)
• Valid work permit in Canada
• Male and female candidates welcome
• Gursikhs / Amritdhari Gursikhs only
• No tobacco or alcohol users
• Good hand dexterity, focus, and patience
• Must be Baptized (Amritdhari Gursikh)

Interest or background in science, art conservation, museum studies, or heritage-related work is preferred

• This is a Sewa-aligned position, offering both skill-building and spiritual enrichment
• Training will be provided – no prior conservation experience required
• Flexible part-time hours, coordinated with the conservation team
