Job Description

We are seeking an Account Manager with a focus on Conservation to leverage your expertise in the conservation and NGO sector to drive account growth and expand the adoption of our biodiversity solutions. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping our clients integrate nature data into their monitoring approaches and strategies, enabling them to make informed and cost-effective decisions, prioritise conservation actions, and support global biodiversity goals and targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Maximise Revenue and Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive net revenue retention (NRR) and annual recurring revenue (ARR), promoting both the growth of our accounts and clients’ sustainability goals
  • Identify and Capture Opportunities: Use your expertise in biodiversity and sustainability to uncover and act on new opportunities within existing accounts, helping clients achieve their goals while establishing long-term revenue streams
  • Deliver Tangible Value: Ensure clients realise clear ROI from our biodiversity solutions, empowering them to improve supply chain practices and advance their leadership in sustainability
  • Cultivate Strong Client Relationships: Establish and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with key Conservation clients, promoting the adoption of innovative biodiversity technologies
  • Drive Client Success: Engage with clients regularly to align our solutions with their biodiversity monitoring objectives, enhance understanding of their impacts on nature and deliver meaningful, positive outcomes for their organisation
  • Enhance Client Satisfaction: Monitor and improve client retention and satisfaction by tailoring solutions to meet their evolving needs, using insights to drive operational and product improvements
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities to add value to client operations through additional services, ensuring these align with their goals and broader sustainability efforts
  • Ensure Seamless Project Delivery: Work closely with our Operations team to Oversee the delivery of projects within accounts, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, while meeting client expectations
  • Maximise Account Potential: Develop a deep understanding of client structures and decision-making processes to identify opportunities for further collaboration, including expanding biodiversity initiatives across additional business units or regions
  • Expand Market Presence: Utilize your expertise and network within the conservation community to broaden our market presence and drive conversations around biodiversity monitoring across different habitats and geographies
  • Utilise Industry Knowledge: Apply your understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., CSRD, TNFD, ISSB) to assist clients in navigating compliance requirements delivering better outcomes through biodiversity solutions
  • Advocate for Our Solutions: Represent NatureMetrics at industry events, showcasing how our tools can help clients overcome obstacles and achieve measurable progress towards their sustainability goals

Requirements

  • Significant experience in account or project management, working in the conservation NGO, nature tech or environmental markets sector, with a proven track record of delivering results and engaging with diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding client bases to target, particularly with leading conservation organisations
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the conservation sector, including the funding gap and linking together foundations, finance institutes and biodiversity needs
  • Maintain active involvement with key industry stakeholders and bodies, enhancing our market presence and credibility within the conservation and nature recovery sector. Attend relevant events, conferences, and webinars
  • Confidently present our tools and products to mixed audiences both online and in person, effectively communicating the value of our solutions
