Job Description:

As Connected Infotainment PM, lead brand projects in Japan/Korea. Guide projects through development, working closely with European developers. Our diverse team brings quality infotainment to JP/KR, focusing on solutions. Job Responsibility:

  • Project Mgt: Drive project success via milestones, change requests, HQ updates, error tracking, & key meeting participation
  • Testing Strategy: Craft/steer local test strategy, align with partners, optimize processes, & plan/execute tests for quality
  • Innovation Scouting: Find new functions/solutions/methods. Assess, report, & collaborate with purchasing/HQ to implement
  • Coordinating Contractors: Coordinate external testing, ensure quality/timing. Evaluate outcomes, prep SOW/RFQs, review offers, & monitor performance
  • Team Organization: Support team organization, suggest improvements, & provide technical leadership with Management

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Language skills: Advanced in English and Native in Japanese
  • High technical affinity
  • High interest in cars and automotive industry
  • Ability to take customers’ perspective
  • Expert knowledge or experience of general automotive or software technology
  • Experience in Reading, writing and working with technical specification for automotive requirements
  • Analytical problem identification, solving and reporting
  • Willingness to build expert knowledge on the assigned functions
  • Experience in System and software technical debugging and trouble shooting
  • Communication skills and ability to explain complex topics to stakeholders on all levels of knowledge
  • Driver’s license in Japan

  • System Development and Management – (60%) Working on the development of connectivity functions
  • Contribute to the development, launch and production of connectivity functions and ECUs, overseeing all steps of the process and coordination with product/design/contract manufacturers.
