Conflicts Attorney needed to focus on law firm conflict clearance, matter management, client onboarding, and compliance. This role is crucial in developing scalable conflict resolution practices while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing legal operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct comprehensive conflict checks to identify potential ethical, legal, or business conflicts
  • Draft, review, and manage conflict waivers, engagement letters, and other related documentation
  • Collaborate with client onboarding and technology teams to streamline conflict clearance and matter intake processes
  • Monitor and oversee conflict review operations, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and refine workflows to optimize conflict resolution and support operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align decisions with organizational policies and client expectations
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation to uphold audit readiness and regulatory standards
  • Assist in creating templates, protocols, and training materials to enhance conflict clearance practices
  • Stay updated on legal ethics rules, industry trends, and compliance regulations to inform best practices

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of conflict clearance processes, client intake workflows, and legal regulatory requirements
  • Intapp software or similar experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree required
  • Active license to practice law in Tennessee or eligibility to waive into Tennessee Bar
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm, legal operations, or compliance environment
  • Proficiency in using conflict check systems, intake platforms, and documentation tools
  • Exceptional analytical and writing skills for interpreting complex data and communicating effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive problem-solving approach
