Job Description

Beacon Hill's client, an Am Law 200 national law firm, is seeking a Conflicts Attorney for an immediate opportunity. The position is currently remote, with the expectation that the attorney is flexible to come on-site when needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience handling conflicts and governance matters within Big Law
  • Active and good-standing bar membership required in California or DC
  • Extensive experience supporting law firm Governance functions
  • Of Counsel Guidelines (OCGs)
  • Drafting and reviewing: Engagement letters, Audit letters, Ethical waivers, Conflict waivers
  • Establishing and maintaining ethical walls/information barriers
  • New Business Intake (NBI) review and analysis
  • Managing conflicts for: Incoming attorneys and professionals, Lateral hires

Nice to have

Training or mentoring experience, particularly within a Governance or Conflicts group
