Defining and documenting the configuration items (CIs) within the IT environment, including hardware, software, and network components
Coordinating changes to configuration items to ensure that only authorized modifications are implemented
Ensure configuration management policies are followed
Conduct audits and verifications to ensure that the configuration items are correctly implemented and maintained
Coordinating changes to the IT environment to minimize disruption and ensure that changes are properly tested and documented
Supporting the government with change and release management of new or updated software and hardware components, ensuring proper testing and deployment
Maintaining detailed documentation of configuration items and providing regular reports on the status and performance of the IT environment
Automatically provisioning and de-provisioning virtual machines, storage, and network components based on demand, while leading the development of infrastructure-as-code solutions
Streamlining application and update deployments using automation tools to ensure timely and issue-free rollouts

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
7+ years of professional experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or equivalent professional experience
Experience with version control systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps automation, and change management
Experience managing deployments via Azure pipelines
Experience defining and documenting the configuration items (CIs) within the IT environment, including hardware, software, and network components
Experience maintaining detailed documentation of configuration items and providing regular reports on the status and performance of the IT environment
Strong analytical and problem skills
Familiarity with federal standards and regulations, and the ability to ensure compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT and business units
Must be detail oriented
Customer service oriented
United States Citizenship is required

Current or previous release management experience desired
Preferred certifications may include ITIL, ServiceNow, and/or Microsoft focused certifications
