Job Responsibility:
Leading the configuration management process to ensure accurate and up-to-date configuration information across IT infrastructure
Providing support transition activities like testing and deployment while maintaining the integrity of configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle
Developing, implementing, and maintaining the configuration management process
Providing configuration data to support transition activities such as testing and deployment
Identifying and documenting configuration items and their relationships
Managing changes to configuration items, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
Maintaining records of configuration item status, version history, and change logs
Conducting audits and verifications to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Collaborating with IT teams to align configuration management with development, testing, and deployment activities
Driving continuous improvement by optimizing configuration management processes
Maintaining comprehensive documentation of configuration processes, procedures, and records
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in configuration management or a similar IT infrastructure role
Deep understanding of configuration management principles and best practices
Familiarity with the ITIL framework and service management methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize configuration processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
Ability to work independently while also integrating with cross-functional teams
Experience with configuration management tools and software
Knowledge of change management and release management processes
Excellent command of both spoken and written English
Nice to have:
A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
DevOps experience, along with Jenkins, Gitlab is highly desirable
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or other relevant credentials
