Job Description

Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Support Specialist to support our Naval customers at NSWC Dahlgren. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide technical CM support and guidance
  • Media production
  • Ensure the integrity and consistency of multiple CM Change Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Provide CCB meeting support
  • Prepare and provide agendas, minutes, notifications, and information packages
  • Track action and decision items
  • Schedule and coordinate periodic meetings with software development team
  • Maintain status accounting records
  • Conduct special investigations to include periodic reports from the CM database
  • Provide summary impact statements as required
  • Receive, edit, and distribute reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or job-related experience
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS-Office and integrated software applications
  • One-year configuration management experience including data entry and report generation
  • Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
  • Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance
  • Must maintain a valid Real ID driver’s license required for access to customer site
  • Must have access to reliable transportation (rideshare options such as Uber, Lyft etc. are not permitted)

Nice to have

Desired experience in Configuration Management process and procedures to identify, document, and control the functional and physical characteristics of a software configuration item
