Job Responsibility:

  • Support Managers in supervising food service and conferencing operations, including week‑ahead planning and daily execution across all service areas
  • Oversee daily food service production and service delivery to ensure timely, high‑quality execution and exceptional guest experiences
  • Assist Managers with people leadership responsibilities, including scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and fostering an engaged, service‑driven team culture
  • Support Managers with administrative, reporting, and labour‑related activities, including documentation, SOP support, and tracking inventory, sales revenue, labour, and food costs
  • Work closely with facilities, technology teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver seamless, high‑quality food, conferencing, and event experiences
  • Support the end‑to‑end coordination of meetings and events, including planning, logistics, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, HACCP, Occupational Health & Safety, and WHMIS standards, including training, inspections, and incident reporting
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across all food service and conferencing areas

Requirements:

  • Degree or working experience in a hospitality environment is considered a strong asset – corporate, restaurant or hotels
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Food Handlers, ProServe, or Food Safe training is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship building, analytical and adaptability skills
  • Strong technical skills and ability to learn and operate internal and external systems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet frequent deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.)

Nice to have:

  • Preference given to those with events/catering experience
  • Proficiency in event Management or Rooms Booking Software is a bonus
  • Resourceful learner with an improvement mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
