Conference Set Up Attendant

• Responsible for the set up and storage of tables, chairs, linen, skirting, and other items utilized in Ballroom, meeting and outdoor functions space for client’s events in a timely, efficient and safe manner
• Complete final breakdown of function, by cleaning the room, and returning equipment to its proper location
• Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, locking doors, breaking down goods, etc
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
• Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
• Ensure that the “Gold Standards” of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day

• Good verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to lift 50lbs, eye for detail
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• and various hours
• Food and beverage experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
• Must be team-oriented and very attentive to details
• Excellent guest service skills and communication skills
