Job Description

This is a central, high-impact role sitting at the heart of our conference delivery. You will be the key point of contact between Show Directors, Marketing Managers, Operations teams, suppliers and speakers, making sure every conference runs seamlessly from the first planning call to the final session on stage.

Job Responsibility

  • Training, developing and managing at least one direct report
  • Managing AV requirements, suppliers, budgets and stage set design
  • Liaising with venues, event teams and marketing to deliver all logistical and speaker-related needs
  • Overseeing speaker agreements, fees, accommodation, biographies and presentations
  • Proofing and providing conference programme content for promotional and printed materials
  • Coordinating staff schedules, theatre managers and onsite teams
  • Overseeing AV, speaker lounge and conference theatres during events
  • Delivering post-event reports and analysis

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of AV and speaker liaison
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a direct report
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
  • The ability to multitask and stay calm when the pressure is on
  • Budget management experience and confidence with numbers
  • IT proficiency, including advanced Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • An understanding of technical floor plans
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for events
  • At least one year of experience in a management or training role
