We're seeking an experienced Event & Conference Manager to drive the delivery of high-quality food and hospitality across a busy corporate events operation. From tailored lunches and networking receptions to multi-day conferences for hundreds of guests, you'll ensure every event exceeds client expectations. Job Responsibility

  • Planning, coordinating, and delivering a wide variety of events, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion
  • Preparing accurate event quotes, tailoring menus, and curating exceptional food experiences to meet client expectations
  • Leading a core team and scaling staffing during larger events, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and budget management
  • Collaborating with internal teams and clients, maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders, and acting as a key point of contact for food and hospitality
  • Maintaining strict compliance with food safety, health & safety regulations, and company standards
  • Conducting post-event evaluations, analysing feedback, and implementing improvements to continually enhance service and offerings
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation, introducing new concepts, and enhancing the overall guest experience

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing high-volume events, conferences, or catering operations within a 5* hotel or corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of food, hospitality, and operational delivery, with a keen eye for presentation and quality
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Calm, confident, and adaptable under pressure, capable of managing last-minute changes while delivering seamless events
  • Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, labour costs, and identifying revenue opportunities
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills, able to manage multiple events and work streams simultaneously
  • Experience leading and developing teams, motivating staff to deliver their best performance
  • IT literate, with familiarity using hospitality booking systems
