Job Description:

As the Conference & Banqueting Operations Manager at The View Hotel Eastbourne, you'll play a key role in delivering seamless and memorable events, ensuring exceptional service across all conference and banqueting operations. You’ll support the planning and oversee the execution of a variety of functions, from corporate meetings to private celebrations, working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to manage staffing, service standards, and overall guest satisfaction. You'll always work with Aimbridge’s four pillars of Food & Beverage in mind: People, Product, Guest, and Performance—creating an exceptional experience for every guest, every time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding hospitality
  • Oversee seamless event execution, working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Maintain high standards of food service, presentation, and guest experience
  • Monitor budgets, inventory, and sales to drive profitability
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations
