Job Description

Working within the sales team at Yarnfield Park to secure new conference, training and accommodation sales across a variety of market sectors.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle incoming enquiries from all market sectors
  • Develop and manage client accounts
  • Work closely with other members of the sales team to develop major accounts
  • Develop pro-active conference, meeting and accommodation enquiries
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry to signed contract
  • Maintain a pro-active approach in following up of all enquiries to increase conversion rate
  • Conduct new business site tours at Yarnfield Park
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure successful event delivery
  • Adhere to all health and safety, quality procedures and unit standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a conference or hotel sales environment
  • If not, then from a related or aligned industry
  • Demonstrable and excellent sales record in the conference (or related) industry
  • Appreciation of the importance of customer care
  • Good communicator, able to speak with confidence and authority
  • Excellent team player, contributor and motivator
  • Enthusiasm and diligence to duties
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Remains calm under pressure, able to adapt to a changing environment
