Job Description

Excellent opportunity to join our Risk function here at Admiral as Conduct & Risk MI Manager! The Conduct & Risk MI Manager plays a key role within the EUI Risk & Compliance function, providing second‑line oversight, challenge and insight across regulatory, conduct, customer and operational data. The role is responsible for identifying trends in conduct and risk MI, assessing emerging regulatory risks, and ensuring timely escalation, clear commentary and robust reporting across senior governance forums.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide second-line analysis, commentary and challenge of Conduct, Product, Pricing, Customer and Consumer Duty MI produced by first-line business areas for governance committees
  • Identify emerging trends and insights across regulatory, conduct and customer outcome data, ensuring timely escalation of material risks
  • Work closely with the Compliance Advice team to ensure conduct and customer MI trends are understood and inform their stakeholder engagement
  • Provide second-line analysis, commentary and challenge of risk focused data such as Risk & Control Self-Assessment, Risk Events and Key Risk Indicators
  • Identify emerging trends and insights across risk management
  • Work closely with the Risk team to ensure risk MI trends are understood and inform their stakeholder engagement
  • Provide second-line analysis, commentary, challenge and sign-off for FCA submissions including RMAR (quarterly/half-year), GIVM, GIPP attestation data, REP008 and ad-hoc FCA requests
  • Oversee all regulatory standing data reporting reviews prior to submission, ensuring appropriate second-line scrutiny and sign-off
  • Provide support in the development of the Risk Management Committee reporting structure and packs
  • Provide support to the Risk Governance team in the provision and preparation of RMC and BRCC reporting
  • Produce second-line analysis, trend insights and assurance reporting to senior governance committees
  • Support the Head of Compliance in preparing materials, insights and regulatory risk commentary for senior governance forums
  • Ensure MI presented internally or externally includes a clear second-line view and challenge, with well-documented commentary and rationale

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working with Conduct or Risk MI
  • Excellent understanding of Risk Management and/or Compliance
  • Expert analytical capability, with the ability to identify trends and risks within complex MI
  • Strong report-writing skills and collaborative team approach
  • Highly proactive, able to self-manage and support senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment, ideally within insurance
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and presentation abilities
