Red Seal in Concrete Finishing is an asset
Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs
Construction industry experience is considered an asset, especially with precast concrete
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Experience in reading and interpreting precast drawings
Certifications in Forklift and Overhead Crane operation are considered an asset
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays

Job Responsibility

Build and finish precast concrete walls, plates, stairs, and other related products
Accurately estimate height, width, length, and other proportions as needed
Follow blueprints or instructions provided by supervisors to ensure quality and accuracy
Work with various materials, including wood, concrete, and steel
Use a range of hand and power tools for producing and repairing precast concrete components
Secure materials using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives as appropriate
Continuously check work to ensure it meets code, specifications, and quality standards

Schedules and orders all concrete from ready-mix companies
Report quantities
Interact with the superintendent and/or general foreman frequently to receive instructions and supply requested information (crew member times, task completion status, tool or material needs, etc.)
Comply with Company health, safety and general policies and protocols and ensure crew members and subcontractors do the same
Assist in ensuring Company equipment is properly maintained through daily maintenance
Complete daily paperwork such as field reports and schedule updates in a timely and efficient manner
