Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Concierge to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this long-term contract role, you will be the primary point of contact for visitors and guests, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, and fostering positive relationships with clients and service providers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet visitors and guests warmly, providing assistance and addressing their needs promptly
  • Coordinate check-in and check-out procedures to ensure a seamless experience
  • Manage reservations and handle booking requests efficiently
  • Act as a liaison between guests and various service providers to fulfill special requests
  • Address customer complaints or concerns with a detail-oriented approach and resolve them effectively
  • Communicate important messages or updates to guests and staff as needed
  • Maintain a secure and organized front desk environment, adhering to all procedures
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors and facility managers to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide up-to-date travel and local area information to guests, enhancing their overall experience
  • Monitor and report any security or facility issues to the appropriate personnel

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a concierge or front desk position
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and check-in/check-out procedures
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using office software and related technology for scheduling and communication
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve customer complaints and provide solutions promptly
  • Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate with vendors and service providers
  • Knowledge of local attractions, facilities, and travel information to assist guests effectively
