Job Description:

The Concierge at The Castle Hotel a Luxury Collection Hotel Dalian is responsible for responding to guest requests, providing information about the property and surrounding area, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role involves handling guest calls and messages, monitoring the club lounge, and maintaining professional standards. The position requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.

Job Responsibility:

Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services
Follow up to ensure satisfaction
Provide information to guests about the property and surrounding area amenities
Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
Contact appropriate individual or department to resolve guest issues
Review shift logs/daily memo books
Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Follow all company policies and procedures
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Assist individuals with disabilities
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required

Nice to have:

Appreciation for evocative storytelling
Keen interest and passion for destination's heritage
Desire to deliver genuine, personalized, and anticipatory hospitality
