Reporting into the Head Concierge you will be responsible for responding to a wide variety of guest needs and requests adding your personal recommendations and touches to ensure that our guests receive the highest levels of service excellence. You will handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to a wide variety of guest needs and requests adding personal recommendations and touches
Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
Accommodate special requests whenever possible
Resolve customer complaints
Assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions
Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices
Process packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner
Assure that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current
Know what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establish close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests
Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Bellstand, Business Center, and lobby coverage
Requirements:
Exceptional communication skills
High level of empathy and emotional intelligence
Excellent Italian and English communications skills (verbal and written)
Previous experience in a guest facing role within luxury front office operations, VIP services, concierge, or equivalent
Highest level of integrity
An eye for detail
A collaborative nature
Flexible schedule to work on weekends and holidays
Must possess the legal right to work in Italy
