Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a concierge to join our brand new Service in Northampton. Ray House provides accommodation, support and advice to adults experiencing homelessness with a history of rough sleeping. The service helps individuals build stability, improve wellbeing and move towards independent living through accommodation-based support and access to specialist services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment for residents, visitors and staff
  • Act as the first point of contact within the service
  • Ensure individuals feel supported, respected and able to access the right assistance when needed
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the service
  • Maintain a secure and supportive environment
  • Promote resident wellbeing
  • Ensure the service operates to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a front-of-house, concierge, security or customer-facing role
  • Experience of managing challenging situations, including conflict resolution or supporting distressed individuals
  • Experience of carrying out administrative duties, including record keeping and handling enquiries
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and relevant health and safety legislation and procedures
  • Understanding of health and safety practices within supported accommodation or a similar environment
