Job Description:

Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a Concierge to join our team! Reporting to the Assistant Chief Concierge, this role provides highly personalized service that enhances the guest experience by anticipating needs, solving problems, and creating memorable, seamless stays.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide accurate information to guests in a courteous manner
  • Fill all reasonable guests requests or requirements
  • Anticipate guests needs
  • Take messages for in-house or arriving guests with accuracy and proper follow-up
  • Properly handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages and faxes
  • Be informed about city activities (theater, arts, exhibits, concerts, shows, sports, leisure, sightseeing tours)
  • Establish contacts to provide information, ticketing, reservations for guests
  • Keep Chef Concierge and senior management informed of any guests problems or complaints
  • Maintain Concierge Desk and storage areas in an orderly manner
  • Direct page staff in maintenance of department areas
  • Assist in reconciliation of charges originating from the Concierge Desk
  • Display high level of integrity and professionalism
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Respond accurately to all incoming emails in professional Spanish and English
  • Perform accurate and detailed night audit

Requirements:

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Working knowledge of PC software programs (MS Office)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette
  • Ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside vendors
  • Membership in Les Clefs d’Or preferred or equivalent work experience in a luxury customer facing position preferred
  • Must have the legal right to work in Spain
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
