An Epic Icon needs an Epic Team! Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Porter - Outback Hotel and Lodge to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking a customer-focused individual with a passion for hospitality to be part of our Front Office Team. This role will see you undertake all guest service agent/front office duties in an efficient and friendly manner and taking ownership of creating the best possible first and last impression of the Resort. The highlight of being a Porter - Outback Hotel and Lodge here is the opportunity to provide one on one guest services where you will meet people from all walks of life whilst showcasing your customer service skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as an ambassador of the resort ensuring all guests feel welcome on arrival and bid farewell with kindness on departure
  • Coordinate guests' luggage across the hotels, ensuring it is managed in a timely manner
  • Look after arriving guests, liaising with reception in terms of room allocations and delivering bags to guests in their rooms shortly after arrival
  • Ensure all hotel areas, including guest rooms, offices, vehicles, conference and function areas, and external areas to the property are maintained and cared for on a timely basis as directed by management

Requirements

  • Full Australian drivers license - preferred Manual
  • National Criminal History Check
