Job Description

Greet and escort guests to rooms, assist with luggage, provide information about property amenities and local areas, arrange transportation, and ensure excellent guest service while maintaining company policies and safety standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet and escort guests to rooms
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation
  • Identify and explain room features to guests
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
  • Assist guests with loading/unloading luggage
  • Supply guests with directions
  • Arrange transportation for guests
  • Communicate parking procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • No license or certification required
  • Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
  • Physical ability to move at required speed, stand/sit/walk for extended periods, lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
  • Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
