Computing teacher and digital lead

• Planning and teaching the subject according to the school curriculum
• Ensuring coverage, progression, and continuity in subject delivery
• Creating an excellent learning environment and fostering a positive attitude towards Computing
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring school policies regarding Computing
• Assessing students' work through formative and formal termly/half-termly assessments
• Contributing to the extra-curricular and/or sport programme and sharing in the extended life of the school
• Undertaking boarding duties, as the school operates as a boarding school
• Collaboratively lead the school's digital strategy and embed Digital Technologies and applications across the academic curriculum

• Minimum of 5 years post-qualifying teaching experience
• Knowledge and experience of Computing are essential
• Verification of original qualifications is required
• Must be willing to contribute to the extended life of the school and undertake boarding duties
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven capacity to respond to changing needs and translate vision into practical reality
• Higher-level understanding and experience using ICT to enhance teaching and learning
• Optimistic, resilient, adaptable, and a strong commitment to quality and sharing best practices
• Commitment to Child Safeguarding and Protection is mandatory

Ability to teach to A Level is preferable but not a requirement
