Computer Vision Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, with focus on Computer Vision, you’ll be training AI models and evaluate if the model is learning and picking up the pattern it should. Your focus will initially be to retrain existing models when there is more data available to train on. Arkion has a steady flow of new images and new annotations on these images that can be curated and used for retraining jobs. But as soon as you are ready and know the data science team’s platforms, tools and the datasets, we will want you to develop new models and solve problems nobody has solved before. You will work on site in our Data Science team at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, using one of the largest datasets in the world within this industry. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data quality and understands that great training data beats endless parameter tuning. Arkion’s success is built on a strong focus on data quality and supervised learning, and we want you to share that mindset. You will also collaborate closely with our annotation team, whose work prepares the datasets. Your insights into which annotations are most valuable for improving model performance will help guide and prioritize their efforts.
