Job Description:

We are currently looking to hire Entry Level AND experienced Computer Technician candidates that have a fundamental understanding and/or hands on experience troubleshooting computer hardware. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality. This is the perfect job opportunity for someone looking to get into the tech space without having much technical knowledge. Hard work will pay off. This is a great opportunity to join one of the largest data center companies in the world and gain enterprise server experience. If you are a computer hobbyist who doesn't have any professional experience in the technical industry but you love building computers, researching technology, upgrading hardware, troubleshooting computer hardware and/or gaming then this is your chance to turn your passion into a career! Training is provided. Experience is NOT NEEDED. Recent college graduates with or without professional experience are encouraged to apply - local candidates highly preferred.

Job Responsibility:

  • Initially server rack deployment and structured cabling
  • Diagnose and repair failures with computer / server hardware
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues
  • Exhibit proficiency in the use of test and measurement equipment
  • Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic departments process yield goals
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Fundamental understanding and/or hands on experience troubleshooting computer hardware
  • Ability to work diligently and accurately
  • Great problem-solving ability
  • Local candidates highly preferred

Nice to have:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Cert, etc.) and/or an IT related degree (Associates or Bachelors)
  • Very good communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
  • Work experience as a computer technician and/or computer building hobbyist

  • Performs all daily launch/recovery duties in support of operational requirements
  • Maintain assigned MQ-9 aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, and aircraft instruments
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents
  • Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment
  • Make entries in aircraft logs and records, attend shift change maintenance meetings, perform as a QA, and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts
