Computer Systems Analyst

Implementation, Configuration, Administration and Support of Computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and enhance existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Works closely with the business community to perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to: new program development, configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation. Analyze information processing or computation needs and plan and design computer systems, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling and information engineering. Use object-oriented programming languages, client and server applications development processes, ERP system, multimedia and Internet technology. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
