Job Description

We are currently seeking a Computer Support Technician - On-Site to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US). We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Computer Support Technician to join our on-site IT team at a hospital. This role is responsible for supporting, repairing, replacing, and relocating computers and peripherals throughout the facility. While healthcare experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to service excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide hands-on support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications
  • Relocate and set up IT equipment for staff moves and department changes
  • Use ServiceNow to manage and document support tickets and work performed
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to minimize disruption to patient care
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies, including data security and privacy standards
  • Support mobile devices and hospital-specific applications
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of hospital staff from an IT perspective
  • Participate in routine maintenance, patching, and updates of systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a flu shot within the year

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
