Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join a dynamic School community. This School is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and cutting-edge learning environment, especially in the field of Computer Science, with a focus on collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

Job Responsibility:

Craft innovative and impactful computer science lessons that meet national curriculum standards while keeping students challenged and engaged
Inspire interest in coding and problem-solving through interactive, creative teaching
Track learning growth, offer meaningful insights, and support students in reaching their full capabilities
Create an encouraging and structured space that drives students to perform at their best
Team up with colleagues to strengthen the department and support tech initiatives

Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) in Computer Science
Previous experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) levels
Driven by a love for teaching and a focus on student achievement
Expert at leading classrooms and sparking student motivation
Possesses (or willing to secure) an Enhanced DBS clearance
Two up-to-date references from previous teaching posts
