Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Computer Science lessons, developing students’ understanding of algorithms, computational thinking, and effective problem-solving
Plan and teach hands-on programming lessons, with a strong focus on Python, alongside opportunities to explore languages such as Java, HTML, and CSS
Foster a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that inspires creativity, curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking
Support and prepare students for GCSE examinations, while nurturing a genuine enthusiasm for technology, innovation, and the ever-evolving digital world

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
A degree in Computing, Computer Science, or a closely related subject
A strong knowledge of the UK Computing curriculum, particularly at GCSE level
Confidence in Python, with familiarity in additional programming languages or digital tools
A creative, adaptable approach to teaching, paired with a passion for emerging technologies and ongoing professional development
The legal right to work in the UK
