Job Description:

Justteachers is recruiting a Computer Science Teacher for a large, forward‑thinking secondary school in Salford. The school is committed to innovation, digital learning, and pupil achievement, offering a highly supportive environment for professional development. This long‑term role begins in the summer term and may extend beyond this period. It is ideal for someone confident, knowledgeable in Computer Science, and proactive in the classroom.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
  • Support pupils in developing strong digital literacy and coding skills
  • Ensure all students remain on task and complete set work to a high standard
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and uphold all school policies
  • Contribute to wider departmental and school activities as required

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching Computer Science or covering Computer Science lessons (school or education setting)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational abilities
  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge and commitment to pupil welfare
  • Ability to provide two education‑based references
