Job Responsibility:
Teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach at A Level desirable
Planning and delivering engaging, innovative, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Supporting the development of the Computer Science curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, challenging, and aligned with current specifications
Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Promoting a positive learning environment with high expectations of behaviour and achievement
Contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, clubs, and school events
Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support departmental development
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (A Levels desirable)
Strong subject knowledge, including programming and computational thinking
A passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
