Job Description:

As a Computer Scientist Intern at Rackner, you will have the chance to work closely with our team of experienced computer scientists and engineers on challenging and impactful projects. You will be involved in research, development, and problem-solving, helping to shape the future of technology. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable real-world experience in a supportive and innovative environment. The primary objectives will be around automation of business processes and conducting research and development for DevSecOps tools.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with the R&D team to design, develop, and implement software solutions and algorithms
Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends to support project development
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues
Participate in coding, testing, and documentation of software components
Analyze and interpret data to generate insights and support decision-making
Work on cross-functional projects and contribute to team discussions
Learn and apply computer science principles to solve complex problems

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and evolving tech environment
Passion for technology and a desire to contribute to innovative projects
Must be able to prove HUBZone occupancy in the current year* within the first week of employment using one of the following methods: Lease covering March 26-September 23
Drivers License acquired before March 26
Voter Registration Card acquired before March 26
