Computational Biology Intern/Thesis Student

• Work on a metabolic modelling project
• Model reconstruction and curation or data integration and analysis with the aim of informing metabolic engineering and process optimization strategies

• Undergraduate degree in a subject with both data science/coding and biology component (e.g. computational biology, bioinformatics, bioengineering with comp bio focus)
• Currently enrolled in a university degree program or graduated recently (within the last year), available to work full-time for a minimum of three months and willing to be based in Copenhagen during that time
• Coding experience in R and/or Python
• Familiarity with metabolic modelling
• Strong attention to detail
• ability to work independently as well as collaborating with engineers and scientists across dry- and wet lab

Previous computational biology research experience outside of coursework (e.g. internship, student assistant job)
