A great opportunity has become available for a Compounding Technician to join our team at our Kurralta Park facility in a 12 month Fixed term position, working on rotational shifts between 07:00 am to 18:00 pm Monday to Friday with flexibility to perform overtime as required. In this role you will be responsible for the aseptic production process- manufacturing Chemotherapy, Antibiotics and Nutritional products for our hospitals and patients. This includes preparing and compounding sterile medications and solutions according to established protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety, quality.

Job Responsibility

  • Picking and preparing raw materials
  • Aseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutions
  • Packing of finished units for each order including final inspection of products
  • Labelling and dispatching of prepared products
  • Ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Adhering to Baxter's Standard Operating Procedures
  • Other duties as required

  • Tasks involve manual repetitive handling and dexterity
  • Previous manual compounding experience highly regarded
