A great opportunity has become available for a Compounding Technician to join our team in Old Toongabbie facility in a Full-time permanent position, to cover shifts between 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm shift, Monday to Friday with flexibility to perform overtime as required. In this role you will be responsible for the aseptic production process- manufacturing Chemotherapy, Antibiotics and Nutritional products for our hospitals and patients. This includes preparing and compounding sterile medications and solutions according to established protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality. Candidates who are looking to start their career in pharmaceuticals are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided.

Job Responsibility

  • Picking and preparing raw materials
  • Aseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutions
  • Packing of finished units for each order including final inspection of products
  • Labelling and dispatching of prepared products
  • Ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Adhering to Baxter’s Standard Operating Procedures
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Experience in pharmacy, manufacturing or warehousing an advantage
  • Manual repetitive handling and dexterity
  • Previous manual compounding experience highly regarded
