Job Description

Are you an experienced Composite Engineer with a background in the aviation industry? Do you have a passion for delivering precision repairs and working with cutting-edge aerospace materials? Chevron is proud to partner with a leading aviation engineering provider to find a highly skilled Composite Engineer for their growing team. Role Overview: You will be responsible for carrying out composite repair and manufacturing work on a variety of aircraft components and structures. Working within a fast-paced MRO environment, you will ensure all work is completed to exacting industry standards and in accordance with EASA/CAA regulations.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on composite aircraft components and assemblies
  • Conduct inspections and assess damage using non-destructive methods and visual analysis
  • Manufacture and fit composite components using pre-preg, wet lay-up, or vacuum bagging techniques
  • Prepare detailed documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Liaise with engineering, planning, and quality teams to support efficient workflow
  • Operate in accordance with safety protocols, engineering drawings, and OEM specifications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of shop procedures and repair techniques

Requirements

  • Proven experience in composite repair and manufacturing within the aviation/aerospace industry
  • Understanding of EASA/CAA regulations and composite repair standards
  • Proficient in working with a range of composite materials including carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid
  • Familiarity with technical drawings, manuals, and repair documentation
  • A strong eye for detail, manual dexterity, and quality-first approach
