Chevron is proud to partner with a leading aviation engineering provider to find a highly skilled Composite Engineer for their growing team. Role Overview: You will be responsible for carrying out composite repair and manufacturing work on a variety of aircraft components and structures. Working within a fast-paced MRO environment, you will ensure all work is completed to exacting industry standards and in accordance with EASA/CAA regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on composite aircraft components and assemblies
Conduct inspections and assess damage using non-destructive methods and visual analysis
Manufacture and fit composite components using pre-preg, wet lay-up, or vacuum bagging techniques
Prepare detailed documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Liaise with engineering, planning, and quality teams to support efficient workflow
Operate in accordance with safety protocols, engineering drawings, and OEM specifications
Contribute to continuous improvement of shop procedures and repair techniques
Requirements:
Proven experience in composite repair and manufacturing within the aviation/aerospace industry
Understanding of EASA/CAA regulations and composite repair standards
Proficient in working with a range of composite materials including carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid
Familiarity with technical drawings, manuals, and repair documentation
A strong eye for detail, manual dexterity, and quality-first approach
Nice to have:
Relevant training or certification in composite technologies
