Job Responsibility

Lead industrialization of new metallic components and modifications (machined parts, welded assemblies, sheet metal, and piping), ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and schedule (OTOCOQ)
Act as the technical and industrial focal point for supplier manufacturing topics, being the interface between internal Airbus functions (Procurement, Design, Quality, ME) and the supplier
Ensure configuration management and technical consistency of subcontracted components
Assess supplier industrial capabilities, including process validation, capacity, and robustness of manufacturing flows
Evaluate costing, workload estimations, and provide input for RFPs and make/buy decisions
Support continuous improvement initiatives at suppliers to enhance productivity, cost performance and the reduction of non-conformities in the supply chain
Coordinate and support MRB (Material Review Board) activities, including the objective of obtaining and maintaining RP3 certification
Ensure knowledge capitalization and lessons learned for metallic technologies within Airbus D&S
Promote ethical and compliant practices in all supplier interactions, in line with the Airbus Code of Conduct
