Representing the transient and steady state electrical characteristics of the product portfolio within power system studies
Development and optimization of electrical simulation models in various simulation tools such as PSCAD, DigSilent PF, Matlab/Simulink and Siemens PSS/E
Parametrisation and maintaining simulation models over the whole product life cycle
Perform various kinds of simulation studies on Wind Power Plants such as Stability studies and Harmonic studies and present this in reports
Optimise the Grid Code Compliance within electrical studies
Benchmarking and validation of the developed simulation models
Investigate and analyse wind turbine functions/features in relation to the connected grid systems
Feeding back experience to the product development based on practical Grid Code Compliance know how due to grid integration studies
Optimise model development and electrical study processes by automatization
Model testing and quality assurance
Requirements
M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or similar
Experience with EMT and RMS modelling and simulation in at least one simulation Software like PSCAD,PSS/E, DigSIlent Powerfactory
Programming experience in Python, Fortran or C/C++
Experience with Grid Code requirements
