Job Description:

We are seeking a Compliance Support Analyst to support the Heads of Compliance (Digital and Retail) and the wider compliance teams in delivering day-to-day compliance activities, reporting, and oversight. This role will help ensure the effective management of compliance risk, the timely implementation of regulatory changes, and the smooth coordination of key compliance processes across both channels. The position offers a varied workload, covering data analysis, report preparation, monitoring, and administrative support across all areas of compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and analytical support to the Heads of Compliance for Digital and Retail
  • Assist with the collation, preparation, and submission of compliance reports, dashboards, and regulatory notifications
  • Support the tracking and delivery of compliance projects and actions arising from audits, regulatory reviews, or internal governance meetings
  • Maintain and update key compliance registers and logs, including incidents, breaches, and regulatory correspondence
  • Monitor and analyse compliance-related data and customer trends to identify potential risks or areas for improvement
  • Support the delivery of regulatory reporting obligations via the Gambling Commission’s e-services and other regulatory portals
  • Assist in the review and drafting of compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments
  • Provide support in the administration of key compliance policies such as self-exclusion, safer gambling monitoring, and licence condition tracking
  • Coordinate cross-functional tasks between Retail and Digital teams, ensuring consistency and timely completion of shared compliance objectives
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather data, clarify findings, and assist with internal and external audit preparation
  • Support communication and awareness initiatives to promote a strong compliance culture across the business
  • Undertake other administrative or analytical duties as required to enable the Heads of Compliance to focus on strategic and regulatory matters

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports
  • A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and business areas
  • A willingness to learn and develop a strong understanding of gambling regulation and compliance frameworks
  • Flexibility to support both Digital and Retail operations as business needs require

  • Previous experience in a compliance, risk, audit, or regulated environment
  • Understanding of Gambling Commission regulations and licensing objectives
  • Familiarity with gambling operations (online and retail) and safer gambling principles
