The Corporate Compliance Specialist is responsible for promoting a culture of integrity and accountability across the organization. This role oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs designed to prevent, detect, and address non-compliant, unethical, or improper conduct.
Job Responsibility:
Investigate reports and allegations of misconduct in a timely, objective, and confidential manner
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance standards, policies, and procedures
Establish internal controls to mitigate risks related to regulatory non-compliance and unethical behavior
Ensure compliance standards and expectations are effectively communicated and embedded throughout the organization
Lead training and awareness initiatives to promote ethical conduct and regulatory adherence
Monitor and assess ongoing compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Recommend corrective actions and improvements based on findings from investigations and audits
Collaborate with leadership to foster a strong culture of ethics and compliance
Maintain documentation and reporting related to compliance activities and investigations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in compliance, ethics, risk management, or a similar role
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and corporate governance practices
Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
Nice to have:
Professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – CCEP)
