Job Description

Assists the Group Compliance Director with activities related to corporate compliance model implementation and monitoring, periodic compliance risk assessments and compliance/operational assessments. The role also tracks compliance with all applicable rules and laws, conducts Whistleblowing investigations and proactively participates in other Compliance projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in developing and implementing the organization's annual compliance program and work plan
  • Conduct investigations to address cases reported through the Whistleblowing channel, prepare reports and help implement and monitor any required corrective action to mitigate risks
  • Preparing management reports to support decision making processes
  • Perform proactive monitoring / reviewing of potentially high-risk areas, prepare reports and help implement and monitor any action plans
  • Assist with conducting annual conflict of interest assessment and help implementing and managing the monitoring system
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the organization
  • Draft policies, procedures and other regulation required by the Compliance Function
  • Review and update of the Corporate Criminal Liability model
  • Support and participate in other projects of the Compliance Function
  • Proactively looks for functional best practices, spreads knowledge, experience, findings and provides constructive inputs to support the superior in creation and roll-out of the departmental strategy/agenda

Requirements

  • University degree – preferably Business Management and or Law
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Compliance and risk Management functions, with experience in whistleblowing channel management and investigations
  • Exceptional in English and in Hungarian both written and spoken
  • Experience in Risk & Compliance consulting or Compliance and risks internal functions
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Orientation on improving processes and analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of compliance principles and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Assertiveness and stress resistance
  • Willingness and ability to learn and develop

Nice to have

  • Experience in Big Four will be an asset
  • Certifications in Compliance expertise will be an advantage
