Job Description

Our fast-paced Compliance team is looking for a Compliance Oversight Analyst with experience in performing compliance monitoring procedures in the payments and/or finance industry. The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills and be able to work as a business partner to connect with a wide range of teams, including risk, legal, finance and sales, and provide pragmatic advice and guidance to build sustainable growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute second-line quality assurance testing procedures across various risks, including customer onboarding, anti-money laundering reviews, ongoing monitoring and terminations, in line with the compliance oversight program
  • Identify critical risks to the business through quality assurance testing and partner with first line stakeholders to complete remediation
  • Contribute to the operational efficiency, planning, and execution of new and existing quality assurance programs
  • Develop quarterly reporting on compliance program performance and deliver to management
  • Proactively create efficient and data-driven approaches to monitoring solutions
  • Collaborate with the compliance team on the further development of the compliance program
  • Contribute in the planning and execution of the annual compliance monitoring program
  • Execute on enhancement of compliance procedures as required

Requirements

  • Ideally from an internal Compliance function, internal audit function and has 1 or 2 years of experience
  • You are a quick learner that have solid foundation of Adyen’s business and/or the finance and/or payment industry
  • You are an analytical thinker with an attention to detail who can both draft and monitor on the implementation of relevant business processes, procedures, and policies
  • You have a keen eye and passion for identifying risks while thoughtfully crafting remediation plans to promptly mitigate them
  • You are a strong communicator who is able to adjust your style and tone of communication, both verbally and in writing, to tailor it to your audience
  • You are a self-starter and able to project manage multiple initiatives concurrently that uplift the compliance program without sacrificing quality
  • You have solid interpersonal skills and are specifically able to liaise and connect with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, from varying disciplines and cultures
  • You are excited about working with an international team who will provide different perspectives and sharpen your ideas
