We’re looking for a Compliance Operations Manager to lead and manage the delivery of a high-performing planned Building and Engineering Compliance programme across the Council’s estate. This is a pivotal role, ensuring statutory compliance across a wide range of building systems and services, while providing strong operational leadership and driving continuous improvement in safety, performance and customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage the delivery of an efficient, effective planned building and engineering compliance programme across the Council's estate
Ensure full statutory compliance across mechanical, electrical and building-fabric areas (e.g., legionella, ventilation/air & water hygiene, F-Gas, gas safety, emergency lighting, fixed wiring, lifts, asbestos, fire protection)
Develop, implement and maintain robust compliance policies, procedures, standards and service specifications
Manage, supervise and develop the Compliance Team, including performance, wellbeing, training, recruitment and employee relations matters
Plan, programme and prioritise work to meet customer needs, minimise disruption, and improve efficiency and productivity
Oversee delivery through effective contract, SLA and quality management, ensuring works meet required standards and timescales
