Compliance Operation Specialist India Responsible to perform screening of HPE transactions, analyzing the requirements of Global Trade according to the Government laws among the worlds. Be ready to join, self-lead and work independently in a fast 24X7 transaction-based written decision-making process environment. Be responsible for having subject matter expertise in RPL/SPL, Embargo, and license screening and decision making, including able to work independently and prepared to meet with internal and external stakeholders. Frequently exercises independent judgement and can provide consulting, training, and expertise to HPE businesses/functions on the fundamental compliance operation team screening requirements, including translating the terms and processes for business-driven initiatives. Help on establishing operational and strategic training plan to maintain quality focused performance team-oriented team. Ensuring team attains positive assessment results, as evidenced in audit trail in SAP & SharePoint systems. Frequently exercises independent judgement on quality control strategies and metrics to ensure SLA achievements. Frequently exercises independent judgement of performance metrics on regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement. Frequently exercises independent judgement to use data analytics to measure team performance, get trend and backlog analysis and implement continuous process improvement, reporting and communicating results to management levels as needed. Frequently exercises independent judgement and analysis of backlog management in order to provide timely and effective scheduling plan for weekday and weekend coverage. Work closely with manager and counterparts in both regions. Frequently exercises independent judgement to gather demand data from current and future programs in order to influence scheduling and FTE. Frequently exercises independent judgement to collaborate with regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance current business processes. Frequently exercises independent judgement to perform research and analysis on priority projects within established guidelines. Frequently exercises independent judgement to communicate requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams. This is an Edge position – expectation that the individual is in the office collaborating F2F with team and other stakeholders, at minimum 2-3 days per week and in alignment with the company rules/changes. This is a position that requires working on weekends, afternoon hours. To work within local law hour requirements. This is a position that requires coordination and attendance of weekly training and management and organizational led meetings.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically, 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain, global trade function
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver)
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills
  • Familiar with machine learning and tasks automation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills -Mastery in Japanese is a must
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Developed Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation
  • Including calculation and reporting skills (written bulletized summary of daily work activities, including count, as requested)

  • Responsible to identify when a U.S. export license may be required following decision making to follow established steps to identify (1) whether approved, (2) export license required (ENC, ELA, IVL, including legal controls for APJ region)
  • In area of working independently to performing proactive screening & timely completion for U.S Export License in India and report results in online tools (e.g. SharePoint, trackers)
