We are looking for a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will ensure that our organization adheres to all regulatory requirements while optimizing operational efficiency. Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to meet federal, state, and industry regulations
Monitor and interpret regulatory updates to ensure the organization remains compliant
Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance and operational risks
Manage risk assessment initiatives, vendor relationships, and privacy compliance programs
Oversee and optimize daily operational workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality
Coordinate client onboarding, project management, and resolution of escalated operational issues
Analyze data and key metrics to identify areas for process improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, HR, and customer service, to drive organizational goals
Provide training to staff on compliance standards and operational best practices
Support administrative tasks and adapt to shifting business priorities with a hands-on approach
Requirements:
Proven experience in compliance, healthcare, or regulated industries
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to compliance and operations
Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) is a plus
Familiarity with audit compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to analyze risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
Experience in fast-paced or startup environments is highly desirable
Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to evolving business needs
Nice to have:
Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) is a plus
