As Compliance Officer at Safello, you will own and drive our compliance function across a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. You will be the go-to expert on AML/CTF and MiCA related matters, to ensure that our operations, products and commercial relationships meet regulatory requirements and that recent regulatory developments are monitored. In addition to ensuring that Safello's internal framework and compliance procedures are up to par, reporting to the board and CEO as well as educating the organization on compliance matters, you will work closely with the operations, product and the tech team — and you won't shy away from rolling up your sleeves to assist the operations with advice when needed. This is a senior, high-ownership role reporting directly to executive leadership, with significant influence over how compliance is embedded across the business.

Requirements:
Master of Laws degree
5+ years of experience from compliance- or legal roles within a fintech company or other regulated financial services in Sweden
Experience implementing AML/CTF and sanctions frameworks, as well as relevant financial regulation such as MiFID or PSD2
Fluent in Swedish and English
Nice to have:
Experience with MiCA, crypto-assets, and MAR
